Description: Lovely vintage wedding dress from the 1970s. Cream color. Opaque lining with sheer overlay on the bodice & skirt. Lace tops the sheer material on part of the front & back bodice. Very wide lace trim around the hem of the skirt. Lace also covers the lining on the sleeves. Ruffle neck & cuffs. Satin ribbon around the high waist that forms a flat bow in the back that snaps over the zipper. Long metal zipper at the back. Any condition issues or flaws to note?: I don’t see any issues at all. Very clean. Has been in storage for many years but there are no odors or any flaws I could find. You’ll want to send it to the cleaners to freshen it up before wearing but it looks very nice already. Material: Not noted & I’m not certain. I would say rayon or a nice thicker acetate lining with synthetic overlay & lace, but that’s just a guess. No stretch. Dry clean only. Brand/Label: None. May be handmade. If so, it’s done well. Any hang tags still attached?: No. Size Marked: None. Measurements: Bust/Chest: 36″ Waist: 28″ Hips: 42″ Length: center of shoulder seam to high waistline 13″, waistline to hem 43″ Sleeve (seam to bottom edge): 24.5″ including cuff Shoulders (seam to seam): 15″ Measurements for bust/chest, waist, & hips are taken across front & doubled. If there is any stretch to the fabric or if there is elastic I will note it. Dress form measures about 33-24-34 so items larger than that are usually pinned at the back. You MUST use the measurements given to determine fit and/or compare to a similar item you may already own. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you if an item will fit you or how it compares to your favorite label.
