An incredibly vibrant & colourful tsumami-zaiku headpiece, featuring a large fiery peony. The bouquet also includes a hellebore, asters, & daisies. All of the flowers & leaves are made with extra lightweight Japanese Habutae silk fabric, which is a translucent fabric with a soft lustre on the surface. The fabric was carefully cut & hand-dyed with paint brushes to achieve the desired colour pattern, before intricately folded into petals & leaves to create delicate details. The petals were then mounted into flowers & decorated with millinery stamens & rhinestones. Bright, elaborate, & with an oriental touch, this piece is full of character & panache. It is perfect for special occasions such as parties, showers, & weddings. This headpiece is mounted onto a gold colour comb & is best suited for updos with volume. Please keep the piece dry. Do not wash. Remove any dust with a clean brush.
