This beautiful antique pendant is shaped like a handbag with a woven handle. It’s an original Victorina piece & is hallmarked for the year 1884. It’s a perfect miniature work of art! The hand bag has engraved details & swirls on the front. The back of the handbag displays engraved ivy leaves, in Victorian & Edwardian times ivy leaves represented everlasting love. Fully hallmarked as solid sterling silver on the back, ‘A.F, Sterling Silver, 1884’. The pendant has a 3D shape & is presumably hollow, but still weighs a nice 6.8 grams. A high quality, rare & unusal piece of jewellery for a collector. in very good antique condition. There is light surface wear & tarnish as you would expect of any used antique item, & some tiny shallow dents & surface scratches. Please be aware this handbag pendant does not open in any way.
