The glaze has marvelous frosty light blues that mix into cool gray blues. The base & plate were thrown on the potters wheel separately. After connecting them, I formed the flowers & added them to the base. All pieces are individually poured & hand-brushed with glaze giving authentic variations in color & consistency. Due to the handmade nature & alchemy of the ceramic process, surface imperfections, & asymmetrical profiles should be expected. 6.5″ height, 9″ diameter plate. Artist signed.
