A fresh take on the fruit bowl, these handmade tropical inspired apples have a gorgeous motif that is sure to add a bit of whimsy to your table centrepiece, entryway, dining, coffee table or bookcase. These bowl fillers would enhance any rooms styled in Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, Indochine or British Colonial decors. Each apple is firstly painted (twice!) to create a subtle undertone colour – most of the time this is either blue, green, or pale tint neutral. After the decorative layer is applied, it is finished with a coat of varnish sealer. & finally each stem gets a little shine of gold paint. Each apple is unique & difficult to duplicate, but I do my best to make the most visually appealing scenes/patterns visible around the body of the apples. As these are paper based products they should be handled with care. They are not waterproof & should not be stored in damp, humid or hot locations.
