Plain Jane style ranger buckles have NO metal overlay on the buckle sides, scrollwork is engraved directly into the steel. Base price of $450 which includes: TWO-piece steel western buckle & keeper to fit 1.5″ or 1″ standard belt (choice of buckle shapes – see last pic, dimensions shown in next-to-last picture, larger number is left to right measurement, smaller number is top to bottom measurement) Your overlaid brand or initials on the buckle in your choice of metal (choose from drop-down box) Engraved scrollwork Steel keeper engraved with scrollwork, OR overlaid nickel/copper/brass initials, cross, star (specify preference in Notes at checkout – can choose silver if silver overlay is paid for) Without engraving or basketweave around/behind brand (to add Engraved scrollwork behind brand – + $125 (select from drop-down box, ex. copper+EngrArndBrand) Custom orders are PAID in FULL at the time your order is placed Your brand image (picture or hand drawn) will need to be sent to us in a message- there’s no way to attach it when you check out. These buckles are made of substantial steel & feature intricate & detailed metal overlays sawn out by hand from metal sheet. Our hardware is equally sturdy, & also fabricated by hand in our shop. Buckle Care: Our buckles are finished with a protective coating which gives a nice, dark finish & also deters tarnish & rust. However, steel can rust, especially when exposed to moisture or certain body chemistry. Buckles need to be kept dry. If your buckle starts to tarnish or you see a light film, you can clean it with Neverdull, & then put a light coating of oil on the buckle & lightly buff it.
