This a lovely 15ct gold pendant from the mid-Georgian era. The pendant is in a classic witches heart style but features a rare addition, a cartouche displaying the letters FH crafted in wonderful hair work. The witches heart brooch was given to a loved one to help keep away the evil spirits, the brooch was also pinned to the swaddling blankets of babies for the same reason.
