A fabulous large glass centrepiece or decorative piece by Tapio Wirkkala for iittala Finland. It is the Avanto design. It is in excellent undamaged condition. Clear with no cloudiness or chips. Perfect as a purely decorative item or as a serving platter – you are just limited by your imagination! This is approximately 24.5cm in diameter & the rim is about 6.5cm from the tabletop. It weighs about 1780gr unpacked. Packed weight will be 3kg. I am a serious collector of design from the 1960s to present. From time to time pieces need to find new homes to make room & pay the bills! All items will be carefully wrapped in paper, then loads of bubblewrap & put in a large sturdy box with packing fill to ensure the item doesn’t move.
