These sweet little heart shaped dishes make a wonderful gift for friends, teachers or yourself! I use mine everyday to rest my coffee-stirring spoon. They are terrific as a ring holder, & have many other uses, too. I used a cookie cutter to create the heart shape, & then pressed antique lace into the soft clay to create the texture. After that I gently pushed the edges up a bit to prevent drips from used tea bags or stirring spoons.
