This Music Note Tie Clip is a great accessory! Perfect for a musician, teacher, choir member, band member or music lover! It can be personalized with a date or short phrase that can be hidden on the back of the bar in the metal & length of your choice. An aluminum, brass or copper base will be hand-stamped with the music note as shown & then formed into this tie bar. It can hold 10-15 characters on the back & measures approx. 1/4″ x 2.5″ or 1.5″ when complete (may vary slightly due to the hand formed nature of this piece). This design is given a brushed finish shown in the photos. Aluminum is lightweight, but sturdy. It will not tarnish & is a wonderful alternative to silver. Brass & copper may develop a patina if not polished. Please note that these are individually hand-stamped & will not be perfectly straight & uniform. This is not an imperfection, rather a reminder of the individuality of each piece. There will be tiny tool marks from the bending process on the back side of this tie bar, but they will not be visible from the front. The tip of the back of the bar is bent to allow it to slide right onto the tie. Do not pry the two sides apart or it will not be tight enough to remain on the tie.
