An extremely rare set including fine cufflinks & a tie clasp crafted from rare natural black branch coral & sterling silver circa 1950. This unique mid century natural coral men’s set is in lovely condition ready to gift or to wear. Today natural black coral is highly sought after due to it’s extreme rarity which has increased it’s price as a fine gemstone. I love the textures in the coral which show the growth of this amazing gem. On the reverse of the tie bar & on the cuff link fittings they are marked “STERLING”. The cufflink faces each measure approximately 3/4″ long by 1/2″ wide(19mm x 12mm). The tie clasp itself measures 1 7/16″ long by 1/4″ wide (36mm x 7mm).
