Description
A pendant made of matt or high polished stainless steel with a section from a historical map from the 1930s to the 1960s. The medallion has a diameter of 16 mm. Therolo chain (Picture 8) is also made of stainless steel & has a length of 50/40 cm. The ball chain ist not available anymore. You can freely choose your desired location for your medallion necklace. A large selection of beautiful historical atlases & maps allows me to fulfill almost every wish. The paper in the medallion chain comes from original maps. Each medallion necklace is unique, individual, personal & unique. I will make the medallion necklace with your desired place individually for you. The places & map extracts on the photos serve as inspiration & as an example for illustration. in fact, I use various antiquarian maps from different vintages. The section of the map for your medallion necklace will certainly differ from the photos, even if you select the same location as on a photo. Sometimes a desired location is not marked on historical maps. Some places were much smaller in former times, not yet so well-known or were called differently. A few place names are printed in abbreviated form on the maps. A place name may be too long for your followers. If in doubt, please tell me an alternative place of your choice, or several. You can also contact me in advance. Then I’ll see if I can find the place you want. A transparent glass pane protects the paper in the medallion chain from rain & water drops. Please remove the chain before showering or bathing. The necklace is shipped in a small aluminium box with a small bag. Ready to give away.
