Here is a beautiful & highly stylised gold-plated abstract double leaf design brooch. Crafted from textured & shiny gold-plated metal, this is quite similar to many brooches produced by the bigger famous brands, like Trifari & Monet. Very similar to a Trifari in style, the quality is very much on a par with Trifari too. If you said this was an unsigned Trifari I’d believe it, were it not for the fact that they DID sign everything as a matter of course. They were totally paranoid, & with good reason, about their designs being copied by other companies. I have no idea who made this, but it’s very high quality & very eye-catching. It’s very striking in its Modernist abstract leaf design, & a great addition to your 1960s vintage wardrobe. Since it is matt gold in colour, it will pretty much go with anything. This measures 6.2cms long & 2.5cms wide (2 1/2″ x 1″), & has a rollover clasp on the back. This pretty brooch is in excellent very little worn condition. Yes – but….
