Description
Romantic 1970s cotton lace dress with a flattering wide plunge neckline, wide ruffles, & gathered sleeves. It closes with a long nylon zipper down the back with a hook & eye at the top, & has a wide attached tie belt. The dress is cut with flattering princess seams all the way down to the hem & there is no waist seam. The dress is made of a heavy, beautiful cotton lace in a pale cream colour, & fully lined in a matching cotton. The dress is very heavy & quite substantial; it seems to have been home made (but well made) & there are no labels of any kind. This dress is quite tiny & I’d estimate that it would best fit a modern XXS, but please check measurements below to ensure a good fit. Bust 31.5″ (32″ at the absolute max) Waist 24″ max Underbust 26″ Hips free Total length 55″ Sleeve length 13.5″ The dress is shown on my size 0 mannequin which measures 32.5″ bust & 24″ waist. Although I was able to get it zipped, it is extremely tight on the mannequin in the bust area, & less tight (but still quite firm) around the waist, so I’d say that the bust measurement in particular is the absolute max this dress will accomodate. It is not pinned or clipped on the mannequin. The dress is in excellent clean condition with two minor flaws, both shown in the last pic: on the front hem, there are a couple of light spots, & on one of the back ties there are some light diagonal marks. (There are also a couple of light grey marks on the inside lining but these can’t be seen when worn.) There are no tears or damage to the lace whatsoever.
