Description
Beautiful vintage tea length wedding dress dating from 1950s. The bodice is made from lace, with a high neckline & long sleeves. The sleeves are very slim fitting & have small metal zips at the cuffs, which come to a point over the hand. The skirt is made from tiers of lace, trimmed with ribbon & interspersed with a stiff synthetic fabric. Fastens at the back with a metal zip. This dress has a wonderful feature which I have never seen before – the underarms are left open to allow ventilation, as shown in the last photo! It has no size labels but is a very small size – I think it would fit a current UK 6. Measures 32″ bust, 26″ waist. Length 40″ from shoulder to hem. Measures 12.5″ across shoulders.
