The openwork towards the centre of the brooch serves to enhance the claw set Cairngorm stone, whose presence is typical of the stylish pieces that would be worn at the shoulder to pin a throw or shawl. The rear of the brooch is solid silver tone, & features a pin & rollover clasp. Size: 4.5cm x 4cm. This lovely brooch would be ideal as a lapel decoration, or to clasp a shawl or throw. Please note that there are signs of wear to the exterior, commensurate with age! As this is an authentic, vintage treasure, its condition reflects this.
